The holiday season has officially started and we’re taking this week to reflect on what a good year it’s been for Tim the Girl and how grateful we are for the support of our community in launching The Good Kind (THANK YOU SAN ANTONIO!). It’s important to us to pay it forward and there are lots of great volunteer opportunities and events in San Antonio this week.
The San Antonio Food Bank always has a multitude of volunteer opportunities to support fighting hunger in Southwest Texas, grab a few family members and head over, there’s a job for everyone [MORE].
Hit two birds with one stone (pun intended) taking part in The SA Food Bank’s Great Turkey Challenge 5k Run/Walk on November 24th. Keep the calories at bay while providing a family in need with a turkey for the holidays [MORE].
Strapped for time? Donate to the Raul Jimenez Thanksgiving Dinner. Now in it’s 37th year (!) they provide senior citizens and less fortunate a place to enjoy a hot and nutritious turkey dinner with all the trimmings on Thanksgiving Day. [MORE].
